Our different fields of application

Initially developed to mow vegetation in grass-covered vineyards, the Vitirover has evolved and adapted to a wide range of agricultural and industrial environments, and all kinds of green spaces.

Asset Manager at Sonnedix

Sonnedix has taken the innovative decision to adopt Vitirover autonomous mowers at its Lavansol M8 site. The site was chosen as a pilot site because of its robot-friendly topography and constant vegetation growth, making cutting costly and unsatisfactory in terms of frequency. The presence of trackers also played a crucial role, as the choice of Vitirover eliminated health, safety and environmental (HSE) risks, as well as production losses. The previous subcontractor did not have the right equipment for the height of the structure, and interrupted the tracking movement to carry out his task.In addition to the clear economic benefits, which will be confirmed at the end of the trial period, Sonnedix is delighted to have eliminated the use of fossil fuels for vegetation management in its photovoltaic park, as well as the associated noise pollution.Since their installation, despite some initial challenges, brilliantly overcome by the Vitirover team and covered by a contractual obligation of results ensuring Sonnedix's protection, no stakeholder has complained about the height of the vegetation, and no intervention has had to be postponed due to plant growth. The implementation of these robots on our site is the fruit of careful listening by the Vitirover team, in particular Arnaud de la Fouchardière, to our expectations, needs and resources in terms of vegetation management on our parks. Once all aspects were aligned, we were able to implement this solution.Internally, the financial impact and the model presented easily convinced the financiers, the technical nature and ease of maintenance easily convinced the technical teams, and the management of this item thanks to robots easily convinced the asset managers.Other countries are eagerly awaiting our feedback to follow our example on the sites they have identified. In France and Germany, several sites have already been clearly identified as benefiting from this solution.

We opted for the Vitirover mini robot 3 years ago. We're about to start the campaign on 2 plots of vines measuring 1ha15, so we're starting to get some experience of this alternative solution to conventional techniques. This small 20 kg Robot mower limits soil compaction, and is perfectly calibrated for plots of vines with a planting density of 6,000 to 7,000 vines/ha. It enables us to maintain our plots with total grass cover. The Vitirover robot mows the plant cover continuously, like mulching, to keep it at a height of around 10 cm. This avoids problems of weed competition, while at the same time providing a permanent supply of organic matter through mulching. Vitirover is primarily a service provider. In other words, at the height of plant cover growth, the number of robots can be increased significantly to cope with heavy weed growth.

Racecourses

Dominique Claude

Manager of the Rânes racecourse

The automation of mowing using robots is an opportunity that we had to seize in order to achieve a higher quality of track than we already have. There are many advantages: No soil compaction, no need to use pesticides to limit the growth of certain opportunistic plants (seedlings, dandelions, etc.) due to the repeated use of the robots, less volunteer labour, improved grass density and better establishment of the grass root system. The arrival of the VITIROVER robots was a major event in the environment of our track. Robots replace heavy machinery that has an impact on the soil, saving staff (when they exist!) who can be directed towards previously neglected tasks.

We're very satisfied with the service provided by Vitirover, because we don't have to worry about mowing the lawn or ensuring that the robots work properly or are properly maintained. In the event of a breakdown, the robot is replaced as quickly as possible.

Why choose Vitirover?

Adopting Vitirover robots to maintain the vegetation in your plots is undoubtedly the cheapest, cleanest and easiest solution to deploy.

Reduces dependence on fossil fuels

The Vitirover robot is electric, so it produces the energy it consumes. It avoids the consumption of fuel, diesel and other fossil fuels.

Preserving the soil

The Vitirover robot is very light (23kg). It therefore avoids soil compaction and gullying caused by heavy tractors or ride-on mowers.

Towards a glyphosate-free future

Committed to a sustainable future, our robots eliminate the need for harmful chemicals such as glyphosate, preserving the environment and promoting biodiversity.

A solution that can be purchased, leased or provided as a service

When purchased, the Vitirover solution can be amortised over 10 years, representing a very low cost per hectare over those 10 years. When leased, the Vitirover solution represents a low annual cost under a multi-year contract. As a service provider, Vitirover takes charge of the robotised maintenance of plots, at a cost calculated per hectare per year.

Its size is a decisive asset

Le Vitirover peut se faufiler et tondre les zones difficiles d'accès : sous les panneaux solaires, le long des voies ferrées, des accotements d'autoroute, etc. It therefore greatly reduces the arduous work involved in mowing vegetation.

Vitirover's commitment to safety

Unlike large agricultural or industrial machines, Vitirover robots carry no lethal risk. The Vitirover robot's front-mounted cutting system enables vegetation to be cut as close as possible to the obstacle, without any risk of damaging it. Vitirover robots can work in high-risk areas, such as alongside high-speed lines and motorway medians.

Silence is golden

The silent operation of our robots ensures that they blend harmoniously into the environment without disturbing local wildlife.

Vitirover's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

At a time when it is becoming very difficult to find skilled labour for technical maintenance work or upkeep of green spaces, the Vitirover robot means you can continue to mow vegetation without respite.

Controlling costs

The Vitirover solution is less expensive than most traditional vegetation maintenance solutions
