Vitirover, a French manufacturer of autonomous, solar-powered professional robotic mowers, was born in 2010 from the meeting of two enthusiasts, one an engineer, Xavier David-Beaulieu, and the other a serial entrepreneur, Arnaud de la Fouchardière.
Xavier invented and designed a robot he needed to maintain the family wine estate, Château Coutet in St Emilion. Arnaud convinced him that this invention deserved to be shared through a company: Vitirover SAS was born.
Between 2010 and 2020, Vitirover will be deploying around a hundred robots, mainly on winegrowing estates, in the form of vegetation maintenance services. This is known as the VAAS (Vitirover as a Service) solution.
In 2023, taking advantage of the launch of industrial series production of its robots at the MMT-B industrial site in Blanquefort, Vitirover will also be offering its robots for sale and hire through importers, distributors and installers.
Vitirover specialises in the design, manufacture and marketing of professional robotic mowers for extreme conditions.
Over the years, Vitirover has developed unique expertise in artificial intelligence, the use of small autonomous robots on complicated terrain, remote management of fleets of autonomous robots, very low power consumption (1 watt/kg), etc.
All developments (hardwares, mechanics, softwares, electronics) have been carried out in-house and are the property of Vitirover.
These innovations are protected by several families of patents belonging to Vitirover.
